Actual Size Theatre company create thought-provoking and engaging theatre projects which examine all facets of the human experience. At the heart of our work is the interplay between music and performance, drawing on traditional and contemporary performance methods to provide exciting live experiences. WOYZECK 2016
New for 2025, resident writer David Coggins has written a new adaptation of Georg Büchner’s famous play ‘Woyzeck’ which will be staged by our amazing acting group ‘Actual Acting’ in June at the Mechanics Theatre Wakefield. This is a large-scale project including live music, contemporary themes and physical theatre; we are so excited to get started on what promises to be an exciting production.

Set against the divisive backdrop of the ‘Brexit’ debate circa 2016. The script is punchy, and undoubtedly relevant. With new music by Paul Dale-Vickers and artists ‘Council Pop’ Woyzeck promises to be an exciting and provocative evening of theatre.
