Actual Size Theatre company create thought-provoking and engaging theatre projects which examine all facets of the human experience. At the heart of our work is the interplay between music and performance, drawing on traditional and contemporary performance methods to provide exciting live experiences. We are passionate about creating work with West Yorkshire creatives for West Yorkshire audiences.

New for 2025, resident writer David Coggins has written a new adaptation of Georg Büchner’s famous play ‘Woyzeck’ which will be staged by our amazing acting group ‘Actual Acting’ in June at the Mechanics Theatre Wakefield. This is a large-scale project including live music, contemporary themes and physical theatre; we are so excited to get started on what promises to be an exciting production.
